I was born in Colorado Springs, and although I have lived in Arizona for most of my life, my heart still longs for the Colorado mountains and of course those Denver Broncos. I danced from about age 5 through college. I was a "holiday" church attendee growing up. It wasn’t until my twenties that I began to search for myself to find out who Jesus was and why I needed Him in my life. I began my journey to only fall off His path and stray from what I had learned. Once I re-married and we began our family I felt tugs at my heart to redirect myself to find Jesus again. With the help of my friends I was able to do just that. After a journey of about two years I was baptized in our backyard on my birthday. Since then I have committed to allow myself to grow through Christ teaching my husband and children the importance of His word.
Today, as I write this, I reflect on the many miracles Jesus has placed upon my family. I look back and see all the times He has shown me, my husband and daughter how He has worked in our lives. I am forever grateful for these times, even if struggle and heartache were present. I have grown in my faith and continue to grow each day. The most important thing I have taken away from my journey thus far is no matter the amount of pain I may be feeling, physically and/or emotionally, I have learned that Jesus is greater!

"Don't be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. You could clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God."
